FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I get tickets the day of the event?
Yes, if they are still available.  The tickets will be $5 extra on the day of the event.

Can I bring my children, and is this a family event?
We strive to make the PWJB Festival an event that is appropriate for the whole family!  Each child 12 and under is admitted free when accompanied by an adult with a ticket. Strollers are permitted.

Do you have a discounted rate?
Yes, if you have a student or young adult who is aged 13 to 20, a Music Only ticket is $35.  If you are not interested in drinking wine, an adult Music Only ticket is also $35.  Children 12 and under are free.

Where can I sit during the Festival?
Blankets are acceptable, but there will be an audience area that is only for festival attendees who wish to either stand or dance.  This audience area will be approximately 100 feet in length and located directly in front of the stage.  Festival attendees who are seated directly behind the standing and dancing crowd may find it difficult to see during performances. There is no reserved seating at the Festival and all tickets are general admission.  There are numerous park benches around the Festival grounds which are available for sitting.  If you require ADA accommodations, please contact us at info@pwjb.org.  There will be limited seating for those who have ADA needs.

Can I bring food & drink into the festival?
No, but there will be an array of food and drink vendors available, including the 80 plus wineries pouring at the PWJB Festival, the beers of the Lagunitas Brewing Company, and bottled water.  We highly recommend lunch or dinner at Graffiti Restaurant which is within the grounds of the PWJB Festival location.  Reservations are highly recommended: (707) 765-4567 or  www.graffitipetaluma.com

What wines will be available for tasting?
Check back here for this information following the Sonoma-Marin Fair’s North of the Gate Wine Competition in late July.

Can I bring my dog to the Festival?
Sorry, no pets are allowed in the PWJB Festival grounds, so please leave Rover at home.

Is re-entry allowed?
Yes, with a wristband and a ticket stub you will be allowed to go in and out of the festival gates.  As a matter of fact, we highly encourage you to visit the Art Festival and food vendors which will be located throughout the Theater Square District and are a part of the PWJB Festival.

Can I bring a camera or a video recorder?
You may bring a still camera to the Festival.  Video or audio recording devices are not allowed into the Festival grounds.  Security will search bags and hold all devices should you attempt to sneak them in.

What should I do after the PWJB Festival is over?
We highly recommend the “After Party” at the Mystic Theatre where there will be more great music, food, and drink: www.mystictheatre.com.

Where can I stay?

Please consider making reservations with our sponsor the Sheraton Sonoma County Petluma.
There is a listing of local hotels on the Petaluma Visitor Center website which can be accessed through our "About Petaluma" webpage, or by clicking here www.visitpetaluma.com.  You may also want to call the Sonoma Tourism Bureau at 866-914-7511 or visit www.sonomacounty.com
